WORKS > EXECUTION > THE STROMOVKA PARK, PRAGUE   (1994-1999)

The concept suggested incorporation of permanent wooden components into a park structure. In this concept are several functional objects : the temple, three bridges and an arbor were created to mark up an imaginary road through the park. The road begins near the Small Temple on the Dog Meadow with a ground plan of 6x2m and a height of 4m, executed in 1996 as the centre of the half - circle shaped meadow. The wandering continued over the 3 bridges (Bridge no 1. executed in 1999. Bridge ground plan 8x3m, circular bench in the middle with a peephole in the centre ).

The whole wandering was meant to end on the former iceland with a spherical arbor built in partnership with doc. Miroslav Melena. Spherical Arbor was planned as a large wooden construction based on the number 7 that would overgrow with the rambling vegetation, the transparent casing hung inside would serve as a roof.
Unfortunately the concept was executed only partially. Hence, the author arranged in 1999 an exhibition named Wandering composed as a way through the Stromovka Park marked up by 16 art objects.
